Terms of Service
These development terms summarize the intended agreement and will be replaced by counsel-reviewed terms before commercial launch.
The service
SentientScope monitors client projects against written agreements and coordinates change approvals and contract-update tracking. It is an operational tool: it is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not an electronic-signature or contract-execution service.
Operational vs. legal effect
A client's approval recorded in SentientScope is an operational acknowledgment between you and your client. It does not by itself amend any contract. Your contract changes through your own formal modification process outside SentientScope; the product records that you confirmed this process was completed.
Billing
Plans are billed by subscription with a 14-day free trial that begins at checkout, when a payment card is added. The first charge is made when the trial ends; cancel before your trial expiration date to avoid being charged. No percentage fees are charged on change-order value.
Text messages (SMS)
SentientScope may send optional transactional text messages to two kinds of recipients who personally opted in through a web form: (a) SentientScope users who turned on text alerts in their own Settings, and (b) external client contacts or approvers who turned on text updates on the secure change-review page they reached by email. Messages may include project decision alerts, client change-approval requests, approval, decline and change-request status, contract-update status, and finalization or other status notifications. SentientScope does not send marketing or promotional texts.
Message frequency varies with project activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help; you can also turn texts off in Settings or on the review page. Texting is optional: every notification is also delivered by email and, for users, in the application. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Commercial decisions — approving, declining or requesting changes to a proposal, and recording a contract update — are completed only on secure SentientScope web pages, never by replying to a text.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of verified commitments, for decisions made in the product, and for completing your own contract modifications. Keep account credentials confidential; each team member must use their own account.
